A Tacoma native, he played collegiate and semi-professional basketball before transitioning into coaching. Most recently, he served as a graduate assistant for the University of Washington Men’s Basketball program while earning a Master’s degree in Athletic Leadership and Coaching.
His off-season small-group training emphasizes skill acquisition through game-based learning and the constraints-led approach. Sessions are designed to help players develop shooting, ball handling, footwork, defense, and decision-making in realistic, game-like situations. The focus is on building adaptable, confident athletes who can read the game and apply their skills effectively under pressure.
He believes basketball is a powerful vehicle for teaching a growth mindset, resilience, and strong work ethic, and is passionate about helping players improve both on and off the court.
